How Rug Radar works
A Solana meme-coin analyzer that scores any token on two axes — and learns from its own track record over time.
Two scores, not one verdict
Every scan returns two independent 0–100 scores. They're a "look harder here" flag, never a guarantee — always confirm on-chain before acting.
How manipulation-free the activity looks — wash trading, self-pumping, sybil holders, coordinated launches, honeypot/contract risk, thin liquidity.
How much credible alpha is in it — your tracked profitable wallets, GMGN smart-money & KOL wallets, their net flow and how early they entered.
Each score has a verdict band: 70+ likely organic, 40–69 mixed, <40 likely manufactured. If fewer than 3 signals feed an axis, it's reported as insufficient data rather than guessed.
Where the data comes from
Four free data sources (the status pills in the top-right link to each one's docs). A signal whose source is unavailable is skipped, not faked.
Security, holders, top traders, wallet PnL / hold-time / win-rate, trending tokens, smart-money feed.
Price, liquidity, volume, token image & socials, paid-listing status, outcome prices.
The individual trade feed powering Benford, round-number, and timing analysis.
Deep wallet-graph signals: fresh-wallet %, common-funder clustering, launch bundles.
15 signals, weighted by confidence
Each analyzer returns a score and a confidence; the scorer blends them by weight × confidence, so a thin-data signal barely moves the number.
The tracked-wallet edge
The headline signal. Rug Radar maintains a curated set of profitable wallets — each vetted for ≥ $10k all-time realized profit, ≥ 10-minute average hold (no scalper bots), and a real trade history. Every coin you scan is checked against that set: how many are in, their position size, and how early they entered.
The set grows by importing lists, auto-discovering top traders from pumped coins, and harvesting GMGN's trending & smart-money feeds — all filtered through the same bar.
It learns over time
Every scan is recorded, so Rug Radar can tell you which signals actually predicted the coins that ran.
Each analysis is auto-saved with its scores, signals, market cap, and (if you connect a wallet) who ran it.
Later, fetch each token's current price to see how far it ran — tracking the peak multiple since the scan.
Compare winners vs losers to rank which signals and flags separated them — feeding back into how you read the scores.
Also on every scan
Image, website, and clickable X / Telegram / Discord links — plus a Pump.fun link for pump.fun tokens.
Free GMGN scam tells: recycled/renamed X handle, reused image, deleted posts, community-takeover flag.
Whether the team paid for a profile or boost — spend on visibility, not proof of organic activity.
Connect Phantom to stamp your scans with your wallet address in the shared history.
Rug Radar surfaces where to look, not what to buy. Scores can be gamed; confirm the on-chain wallet graph before acting. Nothing here is financial advice.
